Linux Systems Developer

We are a 6 person systems administration team managing about 1000 Linux hosts with the odd mix of FreeBSD here and there. We are looking for a developer who enjoys and understands the *nix command line, and who is capable of designing and implementing large complex systems across our infrastructure. Your duty will be to provide support to the systems administration group as well as interface with our corporate development team as necessary. Our goal is to replace our aging infrastructure tools and replace them with something more coherent and unified. Most of the various systems and tools will be interconnected by a flexible API.

Required programming knowledge, preferably at least 2 of the following:
- PHP
- Perl
- Python
